RCT Stevedoring takes the next step in digitalisation

RCT Stevedoring continues to invest in digitalisation to enhance the efficiency, reliability and transparency of its services. With the implementation of a new Warehouse Management System (WMS) and an integrated customer portal, operational processes are further streamlined, giving customers greater visibility into their cargo flows.

This investment marks an important milestone in RCT Stevedoring's digital roadmap and lays the foundation for further digital developments.

One centralised digital system for storage and cargo flows

The new WMS supports core activities related to storage, cargo handling and inventory management through a single centralised system. Operational information is recorded consistently, processes are better structured and manual data transfers are reduced.

This improves the reliability of operational data and ensures better traceability of cargo flows. Digitalisation also helps reduce errors and makes logistics operations more consistent and predictable.

"This WMS is not just a standalone IT project, but an essential part of our digital strategy. By digitally supporting our processes and structuring data correctly, we improve reliability, reduce errors and create a stronger foundation for collaboration with our customers."

Greater transparency and visibility for customers

Through the integrated customer portal, customers gain access to a secure online environment where they can view their current inventory, track incoming and outgoing cargo, and consult relevant documents and reports.

By providing direct access to up-to-date information, the portal also reduces manual enquiries and administrative searches. Customers can retrieve the information they need more quickly, while RCT's operational teams can focus more on their core activities.

A digital foundation for future growth

The new WMS provides a digital foundation on which RCT Stevedoring can continue to build in the coming years. Additional functionalities, such as digital order entry, pre-arrival notifications and further integrations, can be introduced gradually as processes and data quality continue to evolve.

With this investment, RCT Stevedoring is committed to sustainable digitalisation: greater standardisation, reliable data and more transparent collaboration with customers. By combining operational expertise with technology, RCT continues to strengthen its services and prepare for future logistics challenges.
